Role of a Manager – Admin Office Nephrology & Hypertension

A Manager – Admin Office Nephrology & Hypertension oversees the administrative operations of a specialized medical department focused on nephrology (kidney care) and hypertension (high blood pressure) services. This role ensures that the department runs efficiently, in compliance with healthcare regulations, and in alignment with the institution’s mission and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations: Manages a multidisciplinary administrative support team, providing daily leadership, task direction, mentoring, and operational problem-solving

Policy & Process Implementation: Plans, implements, and enforces policies, procedures, and processes that support efficient, compliant, and high-quality patient care.

Compliance & Standards: Ensures adherence to applicable rules, regulations, and accrediting standards relevant to nephrology and hypertension services

Operational Improvement: Identifies and analyzes opportunities for operational or practice improvements, and implements changes to enhance efficiency and service quality

Project Leadership: Leads or facilitates projects involving analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, and implementation, both within the department and on institutional initiatives

Staffing & Workload Management: Regulates staffing levels to meet fluctuating workloads and department priorities, ensuring adequate coverage

Communication & Collaboration: Interacts professionally with leadership at various levels, prepares and presents information using multiple communication platforms, and builds strong team relationships ZipRecruiter.

Work Environment

Skills & Qualifications

Typical requirements include

Associate’s degree in administrative, business, or medical-related field with 5+ years’ management experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience, or high school diploma with 7+ years’ experience Ladders.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in change management, process improvement, coaching, and team building.

Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and use judgment in handling management issues Ladders.
